Take a look here (right menu) at just a small sampling of the countless historic buildings and cultural landscapes in the greater Erie region. Although the majority of these places are not listed on the National Register of Historic Places, they nonetheless represent important chapters of the social and cultural life of our community. From monumental industrial and commercial structures to public buildings to residential neighborhoods, these snapshots give us some idea of the fine detail, civic spirit, architectural splendor, and charm embedded in this region’s built environment.
